Mercury Sable won' start?

I am working on a 1990 Mercury Sable. with 3.8 liter V6, for my elderly mother in law. The car ran fine. It leaked coolant, so I suspected a head gasket. Years ago I fixed my ’90 tbird with the same engine same problem. After reassembly, the car started, but ran very poorly, and very rich, with black smoke. The engine would not rev over 4000 rpm. I thought the injectors were not working. After testing resistance and voltage I found they were. I changed the fuel pressure regulator, then the car would not start at all. It tries to start, almost, like the timing is off. I did not move the distributor during my gasket replacement. I live about 200 miles away and work on it once a month or so. I want to get it running as it was before the change, I am lost at what may be wrong. Any ideas would be welcome. Thank you in advance. earlt57@gmail.com

How can I snap out of this depressed mood?

So way back in February there was a Nordic Ski Section race (high school). We have the toughest section in the state so I was pretty nervous (this was the race to qualify for state). So the top ten make it and I was about a half mile away from 7th place. I don't know what happened but I just couldn't stand up!! It could have been because my boot was nearly undone and was very loose but I just wiped out about one or two minutes away from the finish line. I landed right on my poles and couldn't get up. Not only did my team not make it to state but I placed 11th, one second behind 10th. I had made it to state ever since I was an 8th grader (I'm a junior now) and last year we actually won state. The state I live in is super competitive in nordic skiing so uhh yea. But I cried for a week straight and when kids would ask me about it at school my eyes would start to water and I would try not to cry. Still today I just think about that day and it gets me in this really sad mood and I just get really depressed. Is there anything that can make me feel better or ya know, like something inspiring?? Bought some inexpensive salmon.. woke up feeling weird?

The past couple of days I have been noticing my eyes have been in a lot of pain recently. I thought it might have been allergies since I'm only 16, but now I'm not so sure. Today I used almost no electronics or video games to see if that was the problem. I only watched an hour of tv. When I woke up this morning my vision was EXTRA blurry. My left eye hurts more than my right. The nerve endings in the back have gray spots and the ones near my eye are SUPER red and have a yellow- ish and sometimes brown looking tint (near the nerve endings). There's also a somewhat sensitivity to light, but it is just overall painful. Some nerves even come up to the colored part of my eye. Also, I could've sworn that on my left eye on the white part there was a redish looking scratch. Please help!!!

What is wrong with my car?

My 1995 Nissan Sentra will not start. The engine cranks/grinds like it is trying to start but will not turn over. I have a brand new battery, new distributor, new spark plugs and all new belts. Just got an oil change. Everything that I think could be causing the problem has been looked into; it has done this before and at first we thought it was flooding but when it continued and when it would not start even after leaving it alone, we have taken it in and had all the above parts replaced. What else could be going on and what can I do? Thank you to anyone who can help!

i'm on pretrial diversion (been charged not convicted) for criminal damage to property 2nd degree. classified as a felony at the beginning but on my forms the probation officer guy filled it out as a misdemeanor. the stipulations are that i stay in the PTD program under the supervision of said prob. officer for a year. i am to complete 40 hrs of community service and complete the drug and alcohol assessment to see if i am an addict. i already did the D&A assessment and i need no treatment. so would i need to wait until the 12 months is up to file my paperwork so it doesn't get denied? my lawyer says he thinks i am ok to do it now. i just don't want to leave my supp. at the gun store anymore. paid it off in august last year then got in trouble and had to get them to stop the paperwork. please don't refer me to the ATF as all they do is transfer your phone call around in a circle until you get an answering machine that they apparently don't listen to messages from. basically only if you have legitimate knowledge of this subject should you respond. i swear if anybody says silencers are illegal to own im gonna crap a brick.

Engine problem with my 1993 Chevy suburban 4x4 1500?

I have a 1993 Chevy suburban 1500 4x4, with a 5.7 350 engine. It started running rough, and would chug at idle and feel like it is cammed. I would go to take off at a green light(not fast, just at a regular speed) and the engine would shut down for about half a second and then start back up. My oil pressure gauge was also acting up and would sometimes turn down almost pass 90. About a month ago i was driving down the highway and hit the accelerator hard to pass someone and my car stalled. I replaced the fuel pump, but that did not help anything. I looked into the throttle body and when i crank my car i can see the fuel shooting in, but it wont start. A mechanic friend of mine told me that a bad oil pressure sensor will prevent chevys from starting sometime. I havent replaced this yet, but i know that wouldnt have anything to do with my car running rough and missing before it broke down. There is also a pinhole leak by my left valve cover on the block which coolant leaks from. I think it might be related to the coils or distributor, but im not sure. I would appreciate any knowledgeable answers. Thanks

My car is lagging when I accelerate?

I have a 99minute Nissan sentry gxe ... I need help yet again... my car is having a very hard time accelerating.... it was doing this before until it eventually broke down and i had it towed to a shop where they said it was the distributor. I had them putin a used one... now a few weeks later im having the same problem. It willis be fine for aa few minutes after i start driving. When i am stopped the tachometer needle will dip below 1000 rpms...when I push on the gas pedal there is a big lag before I accelerate. The tachometer will move up to 3500rpms but I wont get any speed for a bit. Other times the tachometer will just stay down or move up and down slightly... I don't really know how to explain it... any help would be great. Is this sounding like a big fix? I already paid the shop $86 for them to just diagnose it wrong...

Get a can or two of spray-on engine cleaner, & find a place that the grease/soap dripping off the engine won't hurt anything. Warm the engine up a bit, & spray it with the cleaner. Let it soak per the directions on the can, then hose it off. The distributor will be on the upper part of the engine & have a ring of wires going into the top of it. Just a note - It is possible that there isn't a distributor, too. Also watch for the engine air filter.

What is the most likely reason my engine is missing at high RPM's?

The car is a '68 Firebird with the original, but fairly recently rebuilt Pontiac 5.7L 350, 4 speed trans, upgraded to 4 BBL carb/intake, and HEI distributor from a '75 (previous owner installed, don't know much about it). This has only started in the last month, and is not really all that bad, however, it's enough for me to take notice. Typically, it only seems to start happening after the engine has been running a while and is completely warm...the most noticeable and the worst being specifically at pretty high RPM's when I'm getting on it and taking off wide open throttle. I started a simple process of elimination by checking the plug wires, which are brand new... they were all properly connected at both ends. I checked the plugs, also brand new and correctly gapped, for any build up... they were all clean. I reset the timing around 6 - 8 weeks ago as well. I'm about out of ideas, and am wondering if maybe a higher performance dist and coil such as PerTronix or MSD would fix this problem(?). I had planned on eventually making the switch regardless. What else could possibly be the cause?

Can anyone tell me what could be wrong with my daughter's 1996 Ford Telstar TX5?

We had it serviced and took it to an auto electrician and they told me it was the ignition leads. However, after having the ingition leads replaced the car still breaks down every so often. I can drive the car and then it just dies without warning, I pull over and try to start it again a few minutes later and it starts and drives good again. depends. if you have one that's double-sided like I do (one side of mine has grill ridges, 1 sde is flat for a griddle), no. the heating element burns the surface coating. if yours is just a griddle, you can. just know that the element will burn whatever side it's touching. I use mine as a grill pan in the oven. I place it on the middle rack, preheat to 450, and "grill" my chicken, kebobs, or whatever just like I would on the BBQ. but you can't use the griddle for pancakes in the oven, but that's why I own skillets.

How to get a title for an Enduro for on-road use?

Can i replace the ignition coil?

the center wire from the distributor does go to the coil, the coil gets its "juice" from thr electrical wires running to it. one is positive and one is negative, the coil should have marks denoting such. Before you buy a coil, check your ground wire and make sure its not broken,and is tightly connected at both ends, just follow the wire from the coil to the terminal end. On your positive wire on the coil, the same procedure should be followed, but, additionally,use a 12volt continuity tester on the coils positive terminal. A continuity tester is a small screwdriver looking device with a pointed tip, and the top has a wire running out of it with an alligator clip, inside the handle is a bulb. Attach the clip to a ground source, usually a bolt etc, and then stick the pointed end if the tester into the positive wire, the bulb should light if you have a good ground. If this checks out, then you want to check for spark at the center wire of your distributor cap, do this by having someone start the engine, if it will start and then you pull out the center distributor wire, a strong spark to the center post in the distributor cap will indicate a strong coil. This procedure will either identify your coil as the culprit or rule it out as your problem.

My exam was actually at 2 and she couldnt be bothered to even get out of bed at even 1 o'clock to drive me to school but the reason she would not get out of bed is because i could vividly and clear as day hear her having sex with her boyfriend. I had an important a level exam and my mother refused to take me at 1 o'clcok in the afternoon because she was too busy having sex, surely that's not right!?!. I confronted her about this and her response to this was not i'm sorry but rather, and i quote as i can remember, "it's my house, not your's, i will do what i fuc**ing want". I was ten minutes late for my exam because i had to get the bus but i couldnt even be bothered with the hassle of telling her. 3 days later, i woke up for school and she had left for work, i went in to the bathroom and she had left a used condom in the toilet present for everyone to see, including my 14 year old brother, absolutely disgusting. Her response to this was again, "its my ******ing house, i will do what the fu*k i want". My brother needed the bathroom so i had to fish a used condom out of the toilet. Try replacing that wire that plugs into the coil. If that doesn't work you may have a defective coil or you will have to find out why the coil is getting fried. Sometimes a vehicle will start up and run fine till the coil gets hot then shut down. And yes, a crappy coil can cause the problem you are having. You can usually feel it sputter when you give it throttle and feel the misfire. I would recheck the distributor and rotor, the gap in the plugs, and the spark plug wires. If you have a bad coil and improperly gapped plug there wont be enough juice to bridge the gap and make enough of a spark to ignite the fuel, hence the misfire.

Best friend lied and stole off me. What to do?

Extremely long story. I was at a party and I smoked weed and started hallucinating and losing it and wrecking the party. I asked him if he drove my car to drop people off (he is on his L's and was drinking), he said NO. Found out my fuel was half gone and crums around the car. Next day one of my other mates admitted to using my car to drop people off and apologized sincerley. However my best friend still denied driving my car. Couple days later, we were chilling in my friends car (guy who made the party) and I asked him if he knew who stole my money. He said he knew and that it was a friend that stole my money and that he would never tell me because it will make things worse. My best friend who happened to be in the car, started to buckle and choke and started accusing my mate why he was getting the blame and that he was a dog c*nt for accusing him etc (in short it looked like he knew he did it and couldn't handle the pressure so he lashed out). My 93 chevy blazer will not start?

i have a 93 chevy s10 blazer 2wd 2d. i started it the other day and tried going into reverse and i gave it gas and it bogged out really hard. so i pushed it to floor and still bogged out hard. and now it wont start. it had trouble starting before. u would have to push on pedal while trying to start and it has the 4.3 vortec cpi. i changed fuel filter on it, distributor cap and rotor on it, has new wires and plugs. the fuel pump is working, and when it cranks over it tries to start but wont go through with it. and after you try starting it you can smell fuel inside engine compartment. any ideas?

The back 3 injectors on 7m Toyota dont work?

I have a Toyota 7m engine and i have a problem with my injectors. I have got spark from my distributor and the spark continues to the sparkplugs but there is no combustion on the rear three cylinders. I know this because when the car is idling i can remove spark cables from distributor and there is no change in how the motor idles. Cables 4,5,6 are the ones i can remove. I have tried switching the impulse wires as well as the power to the injectors but it still doesn't work..Can anybody help?

It depends on what operating system you are running if it is windows 7 32 bit you need 1 GB ram to run that and then the max ram can only be 3 GB so you will be waisting 1 GB and then you have 2 GB ram for the other things if you running and if you using 64 bit it needs 2 GB ram to run so you still just have 2 GB so you should get at least 6 GB plus if you run 64 bit if you want to benefit so i will advise you to get 2 x 4 GB ram so you will have 6 free for other programs and really its more the graphics card then the ram but your card is okay but find out if the card is 128 or 256 or 512 bit that is more important then how many GB the graphics card has you may have 1 GB but if you have 128 bit it will be to slow to even use that 1 GB look at bit. if you want more advice ask me i built me a pc and its doing good he he.

I bought a 1990 Ford Probe to be my sons first car.?

We had the garage give it a full tune up, oil leeks repaired and it ran great. While I was at work, my son thought he would clean it up inside and out. It looks great, unfortunately he also tried to clean the motor. He used engine cleaner and a hose. Now the car runs like crap, no power and it misses like crazy. We took off the distributor cap and it looks dry but could there be water somewhere deeper that we can't see? What could have happened to it? Do we need to take it back to the garage or is there something we can check and fix? To be honest, I am a single parent and it took all I could borrow and all I could charge on my cards to get the car, motor looked over, tune up and oil leeks fixed and replace the window so I don't have a lot of money to do anything expensive and I am praying that we can get it fixed rather cheaply. Definitely do not try things with the second guy if you don't think of him that way, because you WILL end up hurting him. You have to make it clear that you only think of him as a friend. As for the first guy you need to make it clear to him how you feel (which it sounds like you've already done). And if he still just wants to be friends then you need to respect that and learn to just be friends. I know that is extremely hard to do but you need to remind yourself that he doesn't feel that way about you and it is pointless to try to change that because you can't. Try to find someone else to fulfill that other part of your life and just appreciate having two great friends.

My Brother is 30 years old he has a 6 year old son and he is very very very immature, he makes stupid comments and swears constantly. Hi, I had a guy friend in school, he was one of my best friends actually, and we have been really strong friends for two years. We used to hang out together with our other friends and joke and play fight kind of thing. I don't know what it is but he has been kind of ignoring me for a while. It's not like a phase like 2 weeks or so, it has been around 6 months. I don't know if it is because we moved schools or what but I am really confused. You see, when we first moved school we were still really close. We had an opportunity to pick lab partners and he picked me all the time. At this time i sort of developed a crush over him but he didn't know. And I swear that I didn't tell anybody about this. After about 3 months of our new school our friendship sort of downgraded. He found new friends and starting to hang out with this other girl, which many people say, looks and acts exactly like me. Come to think of it we are almost like twins, exept she puts on quite a lot of make up, I don't mean like a little she looks like a cake face(sorry for being rude.) I noticed after a while she was flirting with him. Every girl notices when a girl flirts because she was hugging him, ruffling his hair and all sorts. He looked really uncomfortable though. When she hugged him, he backs away after a second. Soon he hardly even talked to me. I was lucky enough to get a sentence every two weeks. They started calling eachother best friends and all that.
